GifGun Licenses
GifGun 2 includes the following open-source software. We are grateful to these projects and their contributors.
FFmpeg is a complete, cross-platform solution to record, convert and stream audio and video. GifGun 2 includes a custom build of FFmpeg compiled without non-free and GPL-incompatible codecs to ensure LGPL compliance. This build is used for video processing and frame extraction.
The FFmpeg source code and build configuration used in GifGun 2 are available upon request. Please contact us if you would like a copy.
ImageMagick is a free, open-source software suite for displaying, converting, and editing raster image and vector image files. GifGun 2 uses ImageMagick for advanced image processing operations.
GifGun 2 distributes these tools as separate executables and does not modify their source code. The full source code for each project is available at the links above. If you have questions about licensing, please contact us.
