FFmpeg

FFmpeg is a complete, cross-platform solution to record, convert and stream audio and video. GifGun 2 includes a custom build of FFmpeg compiled without non-free and GPL-incompatible codecs to ensure LGPL compliance. This build is used for video processing and frame extraction.

ImageMagick

ImageMagick is a free, open-source software suite for displaying, converting, and editing raster image and vector image files. GifGun 2 uses ImageMagick for advanced image processing operations.
